Waste Reduction

The goals of Green Labs Waste Reduction is to increase resusable behavior, educate on proper recycling techniques, create more outlets for recycling, and provide adequate recycling resources.

In a 2011 waste assessment, labs produced around 12% of landfill-bound campus waste. While recycling is a useful method to divert waste from the landfill, the most efficent and sustainable option is to reuse. Always looks for ways to reuse personal, office, or laboratory products during your daily routine.
